“There are a number of qualities which are important for mental peace, but from the little experience I have, I believe that one of the most important factors is human compassion and affection: a sense of caring.” — Dalai Lama
Choking Game was released on October 17, 2014. It’s a book like no other. I did not mention whether the main character is a teenage girl or a boy. It’s up to the reader to see whomever he or she wants to see in it. It’s a unique story, a personal one, an unusual dialog between a teen who wants to commit suicide and his inner voice that does not want to let go.
http://www.carryonharry.com/talkshow-newsupdates.php?action=detail&id=1413528594&cat=About+GuestsLast week, I had a wonderful, funny, and revealing radio interview in a popular talk show Carry On Harry in Singapore. Instead of the originally scheduled 10 minutes, I ended up talking to the host for almost half an hour. The interview was centered around my latest book Recklessly Yours. I must say, his questions were the most personal I’ve got so far. The interview was fun, I enjoyed it, but it dug deep into my heart and soul…

How would describe your book, its genre? Do you write in more than one genre? Do you feel this will confuse your readers?
Bring Me Back is young adult fiction. Librarians would classify it under paranormal, but this classification may be a bit subjective. A gorgeous young male clone hiding in an underground maze and a teenage girl who bids her body to die so that she can cross over to find her lost childhood friend’s soul may seem paranormal to some. But who’s to say we won’t be able to clone a human being or recall the event of our own clinical death sometime in the not so distant future?
I also write children’s picture books and middle grade books. I don’t think it will confuse my readers because when I set to write a story, I become a part of it. I put my heart and soul into it, and I create a voice that is unique to each and every character.
And they will try. For generations, for centuries, over and over again. Try and fail to find the unfathomable. Hordes of knights, entire armies, devoted and determined heroes — they will try and they will fail. And how could they find it if they do not know what it is they are looking for?

Ali refreshed her screen and clicked on the picture of the attic window. She couldn’t tell whether the face was of a teen or an adult. Ali studied the figure closely, but all she could see was a white gown and a face that seemed indistinct. She couldn’t stop looking into those vacant eyes, hoping to find something in them she should have seen.

Damon is a fierce, unbelievably handsome man on one hand, and a cold, wildly unpredictable scientific creation on the other. When Aliana finds herself in a situation Continue reading
